Beyond a certain depth, the rise in air density can have a significant impact on the inflation capacity of the inflator and on the efficiency of the system itself.
The Q-Boost provides an extra degree of airflow capacity, activated by an additional thrust step, beyond the button’s normal stroke.
This surge, bringing the flow to 140% of standard capacity, is enough to rebalance the forces involved, endowing the system with a true “parachute effect”.
The device has a spring-loaded safety mechanism, requiring a considerably stronger activation force, preventing involuntary use.

The degree of softness of the buttons can be adjusted, choosing from two different settings of thrust force.
